Enormously long time of awaiting for some tracks to be released is nothing new on today’s scene. Label sign tracks but have no money to put them out, distributors go bankrupt or there is no way to clear a sample. The third story is exactly what happened to Chris Fortier’s “Losing Wait” but you’ll find it all in the interview for Sound Revolt from almost a year ago. Let’s focus on the present as the tune crowning the third “Bedrock: Compiled And Mixed” is finally available for every fan of good dance music. And dance is what you can’t resist while listening to “Losing Wait” . The fast and furious hits of bass together with atmospheric layers of synths and a beautiful female voice make this release a chart occupier. “Deep Dub” according to its title is a journey into the lower parts of bass. A bit tougher, less vocal, still wicked. The “Reprise” is as usual a beatless tool for those inventive DJs out there. First the great “Homegrown EP” by Steve Porter and now “Losing Wait” - I’ll definitely be watching FDS Recordings. Comments[1]
