Canadian Micah Lukasewich is another producer with Polish roots who managed to come into being on the world dance music scene. His journey with the Silver Planet label has started from “The Secret Planet” compilation to be finally released on a 12” with a remix from Chris Micali on the flip.
The original version bears quite a big emotional charge which could lead one to a slight reflection. Apart from this I think the track might carry away on the dancefloor, because its melodic and delayed bass line sounds here very lively. The most interesting though are the melodies which overlap one each other to make a final wealth of sounds and arrangement.
Chris’ remix is much more dark and heavy, with a more diversified bass and some extra vocal samples. That’s not all, because the further the track goes the more distinguished it is. Micali with a part of electronic strings has given to the track nearly symphonic character, which has been emphasized in the breakdown. The piece may be easily used for a start of a drama movie soundtrack writing.
Micali is undoubtedly a more experienced producer and has gathered many achievements for his records. The workshop differences in those two productions are very easy to notice, it’s worth of stressing though, that the better remix from Chris only makes the single even more attractive.
