It’s the first time we review Shiloh’s stuff but it’s definitely not the last one. I’ve been a big fan of the Moreh brothers’ music from the moment I heard “Latex” and since then they’ve released tons of quality sound you could hear in their excellent Electrofly show on Proton Radio. One of their acclaimed tracks is “I Really Want You”, which now finds its follow up.
I dare to state that the reason for putting out a remix vinyl was the piece by Andre Absolut, which outgrows the original. That’s why I’m changing the order of reviewing. The main course is a self-propelling dance machine that takes everyone on its way. With bewitchingly simple synths and driving rhythm there’s no way one could miss this trip.
Death By Chocolate Dub is a less vocal and darker interpretation of the original. I definitely prefer this version of the male voice – twisted and used as an instrument (you’ve got it additionally as a DJ tool). Together with spatial and mysterious music gives a breakbeat tune that a lot of you will find perfect to catch a second breath without leaving the dancefloor.
I don’t think there’s a way you have never heard of Shiloh but if you did better go and check them out. You won’t regret it.
